SDF arrested ISIS assassinations official in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, a source of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced the arrest of two leaders of the Islamic State Organization (ISIS) in Deir ez-Zor countryside, east Syria, with air support by the US-led Global Coalition.

“The SDF managed to arrest an ISIS leader who was responsible for assassinations, in the town of al-Busaira, east Deir ez-Zor,” a source told North Press.

“Another ISIS leader was arrested, who participated in assassinations south of Markada, in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor,” the source added.

The source pointed out that the operation was carried out with air support and monitoring by the US-led Global Coalition.
