4 SDF killed by explosive device in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Late Thursday, unknown individuals targeted a military vehicle of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), with an explosive device, killing four members in the town of Shuhail, east of Deir ez-Zor.
An explosive device exploded in a SDF military vehicle on the road in the Shabaka neighborhood in Shuhail town, a military source told North Press.
No party claimed responsibility for the attack, though cells of the Islamic State (ISIS) are accused of carrying it out.
ISIS cells have intensified their attacks in the recent period by planting explosive devices and carrying out assassinations.
On April 7, unidentified persons targeted an SDF patrol with automatic weapons in the town of Shuhail, wounding five members.
