Turkish forces conduct unilateral military patrol in northwest Syria

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the Turkish forces conducted a unilateral military patrol on the Aleppo-Latakia road, known as M4 Highrway, northwest Syria, hours after a Russian bombardment targeted the area.

Military sources told North Press that the Turkish forces intensively deployed on Wednesday morning, on the M4 Highway near the city of Ariha and the town of Mehambel, and combed the road.

After completing the combing operations, the Turkish forces conducted a unilateral patrol on the road, where the patrol set out from the town of al-Neirab, east of Idlib, to the Ain al-Hour area in Latakia countryside.

Hours before the patrol, the Russian warplanes launched several air strikes on the town of Bsanqol and the outskirts of the town of Mehambel, for the second consecutive day.

The patrol coincided with the flight of Turkish drones over the region.
