Unidentified individuals target pro-Turkish faction’s headquarters in Syria’s Tel Abyad
AZAZ, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday night, unidentified individuals targeted a military headquarters of a faction affiliated with the Levant Front, which is one of the components of the pro-Turkish Syrian National Army in the city of Tel Abyad, north Syria.
A local source told North Press that violent attacks followed the targeting, without reporting any casualties.
Areas of control of the pro-Turkish armed groups in northern Syria have been witnessing arrests and assassinations accompanied by repeated explosions amid their inability to control security.
On February 22, members of the Levant Front were wounded due to infighting in Tel Abyad, where they used light and medium weapons.
Since October 2019, Tel Abyad, north of Raqqa on the Syrian-Turkish border has subjected to Turkish and Turkish-backed armed groups’ control.
