Syria’s northwest records 21 new coronavirus infections
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, the Syrian Interim Government, a Syrian opposition government based in Turkey and associated with the Syrian National Coalition, recorded 21 new coronavirus infections in northwest Syria.
The Interim Government announced through spreadsheets on its official website that it tested 568 suspected cases, reporting 30 new recoveries.
With the new cases, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-held areas has risen to 21,363, including 637 deaths and about 19,542 recoveries.
On Saturday, the Interim Government recorded 6 infections.
