Syria’s northwest records 16 new coronavirus infections

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, the Syrian Interim Government, a Syrian opposition government based in Turkey and associated with the Syrian National Coalition, recorded 16 new coronavirus infections in northwest Syria.

The Interim Government announced through spreadsheets on its official website that it tested 245 suspected cases, reporting no recoveries.

On Thursday, the Interim Government recorded two infections.

With the new cases, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-held areas has risen to 21,336, including 637 deaths and about 19,512 recoveries.
