Syria’s opposition-held areas record no new coronavirus infections
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, the Syrian Interim Government, a Syrian opposition government based in Turkey and associated with the Syrian National Coalition, did not record any new coronavirus infections in northwest Syria.
The Interim Government announced through spreadsheets on its official website that the number of recent recoveries reached 27 and it has tested 188 suspected cases, reporting no deaths.
On March 19, the Interim Government recorded 9 coronavirus infected cases and 9 recoveries.
With the new cases, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-held areas has risen to 21,260 including 637 deaths and about 19,251 recoveries.
