Shelling on Syria’s Tel Rifaat, Tel Tamr, Ain Issa

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday evening, the Turkish forces and the Turkish-backed armed opposition groups targeted the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the town of Ain Issa, north Syria, and Tel Tamr, northeastern Syria, amid intense shelling on Tel Rifaat in Aleppo northern countryside.

“Turkish warplanes bombed the outskirts of Ain Issa amid fierce clashes between the armed groups and the SDF,” military sources told North Press.

The sources attributed the Turkish bombardment to “the big losses among the armed groups.”

Opposition social media mourned member of the Sultan Suleiman Shah Brigade, Muhammad Na’sani, who was killed in Ain Issa, as they said.

Since March 17, the armed groups have been trying to advance to Ain Issa town.

In the same context, the Turkish artillery targeted the countryside of Tel Tamr, northeast Syria.

Also, several shells fell on the inhabited neighborhoods of the town Tel Rifaat, Aleppo northern countryside.
