IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, the Syrian Interim Government, a Syrian opposition government based in Turkey and associated with the Syrian National Coalition, recorded 12 new coronavirus infections in northwest Syria.
The Interim Government announced through spreadsheets on its official website that the number of recent recoveries reached six and it has tested 416 suspected cases reporting no deaths.
On February 13, the Interim Government recorded no coronavirus infection and three recoveries.
With the new cases, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-held areas has risen to 21,227, including 637 deaths and about 19,165 recoveries.
