Three injured due to Turkish bombing on Syria’s Ain Issa

AIN ISSA, Syria (North Press) – The citizen Khalil Ali Omar, from Ain Issa town, north Raqqa, northern Syria, was injured due to Turkish bombing on the town raising the number to three after the injury of two children. 

“Khalil Ali Omar was injured in his leg by shrapnel of the Turkish bombing on the town, and he was hospitalized for treatment,” medical sources said.

Last night two children were injured as a result of the Turkish bombing on the town, a 3-year-old child and a 4-year-old child girl who were injured in the head and limbs.   

There are Russian bases and Syrian government military posts in the area that are stationed there according to an agreement with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

Ain Issa town has strategic importance, being near the M4 Highway, which connects Syria’s north and south and is a vital gateway for both commercial and personal travel.
