Syria’s Autonomous Administration records 150 new infections, 3 deaths from coronavirus
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Health Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) announced the recording of 150 new coronavirus infections and three deaths in its areas on Monday.
Jiwan Mustafa, co-chair of the AANES Health Board, was quoted on the Board’s official Facebook page as stating that the deaths were two men from Hasakah and a woman from Manbij.
Mustafa added that the new cases were 81 males and 69 females, and the recorded infections were 31 in Derik, 24 in Kobani, 23 in Qamishli, 18 in Manbij, 17 in Hasakah, 11 in Tabqa, eight in Raqqa, eight in Girke Lege, two in Amuda, two in Tirbespi, two in Jil Agha, two in Hawl Camp, one in Shahba, and one in Tel Tamr.
The recovery of 15 cases were also recorded, according to Mustafa.
According to the new the statistics on new cases of coronavirus in the Autonomous Administration regions, the number of infections has risen to 3,948, of which 115 died and 687 recovered.
