LATAKIA, Syria (North Press) – A security source said on Saturday, that initial investigations proved that the fires along the Syrian coast towards Homs were “deliberate”, based on their start at one time.

“The statements of the villagers are now being matched with gathering sources and information to reach the backgrounds of this sabotage which is not excluded to be a terrorist act,” the source told North Press.

“The work is underway to uncover those involved, considering that the matter cannot be as a result of negligence,” the source added.
