MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – Politicians, intellectuals and tribal leaders in the city of Manbij, northern Syria, said that the seminar held by the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) in the city was a successful step to find solutions to the mistakes and problems of the civil administration.
“Such symposiums will affect positively on the Autonomous Administration,” Adel Abdulsalam, notable of Albu-Sultan tribe, told North Press.
The symposium discussed various issues such as the intra-Syrian dialogue, dialogue with the opposition, dialogue with the Syrian government, and the intra-Kurdish dialogue and its role in the political solution in the country.
“By listening to people, we can derive appropriate solutions to the Syrian crisis,” said Mona Khalaf, the co-chair of the Democratic National Alliance Party in Manbij.
“The symposium took place in appropriate place and time,” said Ahmad al-Youssef, co-chair of the Union of Intellectuals in Manbij and its countryside.
“We highlighted the Autonomous Administration and the methods to develop it,” he added.
The symposium started under the title “Towards a National Conference for the People of Jazira and the Euphrates”.
The symposium was attended by 150 figures of various political, cultural, tribal and religious actors in Manbij and its countryside.
