Unknown persons bomb gas pipeline in Syria’s Hasakah

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – Unknown individuals bombed the gas pipeline connecting the Margada gas station with the al-Jbesa gas station in the southern countryside of Hasakah, northeastern Syria, on Thursday evening, with information about casualties still unknown.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said that the explosion was caused by an explosive device planted by unknown individuals and led to the explosion of the gas pipeline between the city of Shaddadi and the town of Margada, south of Hasakah. 

SOHR indicated the outbreak of a large fire and material damage, without any reports about casualties. 

On April 12, unknown individuals targeted the main gas pipeline to the city of Shaddadi with an explosive device, which caused damage to the line.
