Syria’s Autonomous Administration records 121 new coronavirus cases

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Health Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) announced on Wednesday the recording of 121 new coronavirus cases in addition two death cases in its regions.

Jiwan Mustafa, co-chair of the AANES Health Board, as stating that the two deaths were men of the city of Hasakah.

The city of Raqqa has recorded the highest rate of new infections which recorded 45 new cases, this was the first time that the Health Board to record this percentage of injuries in Raqqa.

According to the Health Board, the new recorded infections are 45 in Raqqa, 21 in Qamishli, 20 in Hasakah, 15 in Manbij, 8 in Kobani, 6 in Amude, and 6 in Tabqah.  

Jiwan Mustafa declared the recovery of 12 cases were also recorded.

The Health Board of (AANES) announced on Tuesday the recording of 51 new coronavirus cases in its regions.

According to the new the statistics on new cases of coronavirus in the Autonomous Administration regions, the number of infections has risen to 1,618, of which 64 died and 429 recovered.
