Mutual shelling between Syrian government and opposition groups in Idlib and Hama

SYRIA (North Press) – Syrian government forces shelled areas in both Idlib and Hama countryside on Tuesday, while the opposition’s Fateh al-Mubin operations room bombed Syrian government sites in the countryside of Idlib.

Syrian government forces’ artillery shelled areas in Idlib countryside, though there have not been any recorded injuries so far, according to the Syrian Observatory Human Rights. 

Meanwhile, armed opposition groups in Fateh al-Mubin shelled Syrian government sites in the southern Idlib countryside.

Moreover, the mutual shelling on south Idlib countryside took place concurrent with Syrian government shelling on areas in the western Hama countryside.

Idlib, Hama, and Latakia have been witnessing intensive military operations by the government since July 14, when a VBIED targeted a joint Russian-Turkish patrol south of Idlib, injuring three Russian soldiers and damaging four vehicles.
