All of the "terrorist operations" around the world since early 2019

An Egyptian human rights organization which operates as an observer member of the United Nations Human Rights Council has revealed the total number of  “terrorist operations ” around the world, since early 2019 to August of the same year, despite international efforts exerted to combat terrorism.
According to statistics issued by Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights, a copy of which was obtained by North-Press, the past period of this year “has witnessed many terrorist attacks”, as the statistics revealed, in numbers, the terrorist operations and resulting victims, during  January 2019 to mid-August 2019.
A total of 1,344 “terrorist operations and armed attacks” were carried out, resulting in the deaths of 5,906 people in different parts of the world, especially in countries experiencing internal crises and conflicts, including Syria.
Each terrorist group had a share of these crimes, according to the statistical data, the Islamic State group (ISIS) has committed 308 terrorist attacks, resulting in 1,259 deaths (although the group was defeated on the ground in Syria and Iraq). As for Taliban movement, it has carried out 157 terrorist attacks; resulting in 1,154 deaths.
While “Mujahideen Youth Movement” in Somalia has carried out 54 terrorist attacks that killed 257 people.
As for “Boko Haram Movement” in Nigeria, it has committed 70 terrorist attacks, causing 487 deaths.
These figures, according to Maat Foundation, show that “we are facing terror of the most brutal kind, and that we are facing an expected increase in such terrorist operations, as a result of the developed capabilities of these groups”.
The Foundation reasoned the escalation of the terrorist threats to “a state of extremism stemmed from the failure to develop religious or political speeches, that turned into extremist ideas which could have been confronted by civil society intellectual, social, cultural and artistic tools, where it is the responsibility of the elite in any country to lead the enlightenment process and to build awareness, especially in the post-major political shakings or in times of major challenges”.
