Unknown raids target Albukamal, kill pro-Iranian elements

Unknown raids targeted several sites where Iranian forces are present in the city of Albukamal, east of Deir ez-Zor, killing five elements of the pro-Iranian groups. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights quoted sources as saying that the explosions occurred as a result of anonymous shelling, there was conflicting information about whether it was by drones or due to long-range missiles.

The sources pointed out that high-explosive and unknown source missiles targeted the base of Brigade 47 of the pro-Iranian groups in the city of Albukamal, in eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside.

Earlier this month, five pro-Iranian members were killed in similar raids that targeted the outskirts of the city of Albukamal, on the Syrian-Iraqi borders.
