A joint Russian-Turkish patrol in Sere-Kaniye, another U.S. patrol southern Hasakah

A joint Russian-Turkish military patrol was conducted in the countryside of Sere-Kaniye (Ras al-Ain) and on M4 highway, aiming at inspecting vital installations, in conjunction with a regular U.S. military patrol in the countryside of Hasakah today, on Tuesday.    North-Press reported the conducting of a joint Russian-Turkish military patrol which included two armored vehicles for each side accompanied by two Russian helicopters in north-west of Hasakah, north-eastern Syria.

Where the patrol toured Mabrouka power station in the countryside of Sere-Kaniye (Ras al-Ain), up to the village of Laylan on M4 highway, in order to inspect the vital installations which are under the control of the Turkish military and its affiliated armed opposition groups.

The joint patrol between the Russian and Turkish forces in northeastern Syria comes according to "Sochi Agreement" which was signed last November, on the background of the control of the Turkish military and its affiliated armed opposition groups over the areas of Sere-Kaniye (Ras al-Ain) and Tal-Abyad (Gre-Spi).

In another context, the U.S. forces conducted a military patrol consisting of 6 armored vehicles which was set out from Qasrak base, in the eastern countryside of Tal Tamr, passing through the city of Hasakah and heading towards the U.S. base in the town of al-Shaddadi, south of Hasakah, within the framework of their regular patrols in the region.   

It is noteworthy that, a U.S. patrol consisting of 4 armored vehicles and accompanied by two Apache helicopters was conducted in the city of Hasakah, yesterday on Monday, included U.S. troops, who were coming from the city of Remailan, where they toured among the residents of Khishman neighborhood in Hasakah and the town of Safya, and spoke to the locals, in addition to purchasing some of their necessities, before heading towards Tal Barak, northwestern Hasakah.
