An explosion hits the town of Suluk on the first day of 2020, under Turkish occupation

An explosion hit today, Wednesday, the town of Suluk, in the northern countryside of Raqqa, which is controlled by Turkish military and its affiliated armed opposition groups. As local sources confirmed that the explosion was caused by a car bomb explosion in the center of the town of Suluk, which resulted in 3 deaths and about 5 injuries, while the number of deaths is still likely to rise, due to the serious injuries.

Earlier, two explosions occurred on the 22nd of December last year in the countryside of Tal Tamr, local sources indicated that they were caused by the detonation of two car bombs in the areas controlled by the armed opposition groups and the Turkish forces.

As North-Press was able to film the moment of the two explosions which occurred in Lailan area, west of Tal Tamr, that caused injuries and material damage, where the two explosions came about 72 hours after an explosion occurred in the town of Tal Halaf, in the Western countryside of Ras al-Ain (Sere-Kaniye).

 

Local sources confirmed at that time that the explosion in Tal Halaf was caused by a car bomb, which took place near the municipality of Tal Halaf, causing at least 4 deaths and a number of injuries. While earlier in December, another explosion took place in the town of Mabrouka in the western countryside of Ras al-Ain, as a part of a series of continuous bombings, that killed 5 people.
