Continued bombardment by Syrian government forces amid flights of Russian reconnaissance aircraft in Idlib

On Monday, for the third consecutive day, Syrian government forces continue their artillery shelling on several areas in Idlib countryside in the northwest of Syria in conjunction with flights of Russian reconnaissance aircraft in the airspace of the de-escalation zones in the northwest of Syria.

 A field source told North-Press that on Monday, Syrian government forces' artillery shelled the areas of Afes, Kafr Awayd, al-Fatira, Kansafra, and Benin in Mount (Jabal) al-Zawiya in Idlib's eastern and southern countryside.

Yesterday, Sunday, Syrian government forces bombed the areas of Sufuhon, al-Barah and Arenba in Jabal al-Zawiya.

Meanwhile, Russian reconnaissance aircraft continue to fly in the airspace of the western countryside of Hama and southern Idlib.

The ceasefire agreement in the de-escalation zones has entered its 46th day in a row, during which it witnessed violations by Syrian government forces during the last week, in addition to the resurgence of Russian warplanes and reconnaissance aircraft in the airspace of the region.
