ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – Workers of the People’s Municipality found nine corpses on Sunday afternoon in the Sakan Shababi neighborhood, north of the city of Aleppo, without being able to define their identities.
While they were removing rubble to rehabilitate some damaged sites, the workers found the corpses.
The corpses were transferred to forensics in the neighborhood to examine them and to try to determine their identity and the date of their death.
“All the corpses were decomposed and only bones remained,” said one of the workers who preferred not to be named.
“We found a bag of serum beside one of the corpses,” he added.
The Sakan Shababi neighborhood is now run by a special administration of its own after several armed groups took over the area.
