On Monday, the Crisis Management Team in the Euphrates region confirmed that no infections with the novel coronavirus were recorded in the region. The team also provided facilities for industrial and exchange stores in light of the lockdown in the region.

On Monday, the Crisis Management Team issued a new statement, which included new amendments to the mechanism of money transfer companies and industrial stores for the repair of harvesters in the city of Kobani.
The co-chair of the Executive Council in the Euphrates region, Mohamed Shaheen, told North-Press that the new decree permits industrial shops that maintain agricultural machinery (such as harvesters and tractors) to work full time while facilitating the passage of agricultural vehicle owners.

Under the decree, money transfer companies are allowed to operate on Monday and Wednesday of every week from 09:00 am until 02:00 pm, according to Shaheen.
Exit and entry to and from the region are prohibited, except for petroleum and gas trucks and health emergencies, according to the text of the decree.

Shaheen pointed out that the new decisions came after many demands by the owners of money exchange and harvest maintenance shops in Kobani to provide more facilities for their works under the lockdown.

The owners of money exchange and transfer shops in Kobani had previously called for the Autonomous Administration in the city to allocate a day other than Friday to allow the opening of their offices, given that most of the transfer offices in other regions in Syria are closed on Friday.

While the owners of the harvesters' maintenance shops in the city earlier called on the Economic Board in the region to provide more facilities and executive instructions to allow the harvesters to enter from the countryside to the city, and to facilitate transit procedures to the cities of Manbij and Aleppo to secure "spare parts" so they can complete their works before the harvest season.
