Syria’s northeastern Autonomous Administration to compensate affected farmers by crops fires

The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has decided to launch a campaign in order to compensate the affected farmers by the latest crops’ fires in north and eastern Syria.
 
collecting donations from citizens and Autonomous Administration personnel.

According to the Administration press release on social media pages,  the Executive Council had decided on Thursday the source of compensation for the affected farmers by launching a campaign in order to collect SYP 1000 of the monthly salary of each employee on a voluntary basis, in addition to granting a permission for a group of civil society organizations to launch a large-scale donation campaign throughout the north and eastern Syria territories.

The statement referred that these local NGOs will supervise the fundraising campaign in all of the administrative units, in order to be added to the collected amounts of the Administration’s employees’ contributions, while the compensation will include the losses (expenses), and not the expected benefits of the agricultural season.
