Rojin Muhammad Ali, the co-chair of the Economy Board in the Euphrates Region, stated that the agricultural directorates will allow the exit of a specific number of the harvesters from the region to head to other regions, and that the permissions will be stopped to ensure that the remaining number of harvesters are enough for the agricultural season in the region.

In a special statement to North-Press, Rojin Muhammad Ali said that the harvesters that will leave the Euphrates Region will get a 200-liter barrel of diesel to be able to move, while the other harvesters will get their allocations of diesel in full, according to the size of the harvester and the days of work.

On Tuesday, the Economy Board of the Euphrates Region issued a decree in which it prevents agricultural harvesters to leave the administrative borders of the Euphrates Region without attaining written consent from the Agricultural Directorates in both Kobani and Tal-Abyad districts.

Rojin Muhammad Ali pointed out that the goal of the decree is “to know the number of the harvesters that will stay within the province, and the number that will leave to the other regions during the agricultural season."

The exit of the harvesters from Kobani region to the eastern regions last year caused a shortage of harvesters, which had a negative effect on the agricultural season in Kobani, where the delay in harvesting the agricultural crops in most of the villages caused a big loss due to the fires that swept various areas in the Euphrates Region.

The number of agricultural harvesters ready for work in the Euphrates Region has reached 719, according to the co-chair of the Economy Board in the Euphrates Province.
