North-Eastern Syria Administration wants a conditional dialogue – Syrian MP

A member of the Syrian parliament said that the Syrian government has not closed the door for dialogue with all Syrians, pointing out that the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria wants a dialogue with preconditions.
Faisal Azzouz, the member of the Syrian Parliament said in an interview with North-Press that the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria is ready for dialogue, but with preconditions and consideration for the experience of the Autonomous Administration being a reality must be taken into account.
Azzouz pointed out that the Syrian government did not close the door for dialogue with all Syrian people, taking into account the national belonging and the Syrian sovereignty. He explained that the obstacles that hinder the dialogue process are “the existence of multiple opinions within the Autonomous Administration, and the dialogue sessions have other references to them, and these references may have an international dimension, in addition to that they have armed leaders as they are the decision-makers.”
Regarding the Russian side as the guarantor, Azzouz said: "The Russian role is important in bringing views closer together, and we must not forget the U.S. role, which is a fundamental reference for the Autonomous Administration.”
Regarding whether the Syrian government will stick to the idea of reconciliation or not, Azzouz stressed that the Kurds are Syrian citizens who enjoy rights and duties and cannot be distinguished from other citizens in the process of dialogue and reconciliation, expressing full appreciation for the role they have played in the fight against terrorism.
The Syrian member of parliament said that the Ministry of Defense has issued a resolution allowing the joining of the Syrian army, and that the details of such a decision need to be discussed by specialized among the military, noting that the Russian side can play a role in this matter. Faisal Azzouz stressed that there are no requirements for the Syrian government for dialogue with its citizens, except the sincerity of the interlocutor and the sincerity of belonging to a united Syria.
