Saudi Arabia says 73 civilians wounded in Houthi attacks

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Saudi Arabia on Tuesday said dozens of people were wounded in Houthi attacks on cities in southern Saudi Arabia.

In an official statement, Saudi Arabia said Houthi attacks targeted four southern cities, Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran, wounding 73 civilians, including women and children.

All necessary measures will be taken to deter the Houthis and defend the Kingdom’s sovereignty, the statement said.

Earlier on Tuesday, Yemen’s Houthi group said it had attacked southern Saudi Arabia with drones and missiles.

The Iran-aligned Houthis, who control Yemen’s most densely populated areas and much of the north, have launched attacks toward Saudi Arabia since announcing a maritime blockade of the Kingdom in July, with strikes targeting Saudi-linked vessels in the Red Sea.
