Landmine blast kills, injures eight in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor countryside
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Eight people were killed or injured on Monday when a landmine exploded as a vehicle carrying several people passed through Faydat Bin Muwayni’ in the Deir ez-Zor countryside.
Local sources told North Press that the explosion hit a vehicle carrying eight people, most of them members of the same family. Three children and a woman were among those killed or injured.
The sources said those among the casualties included Saleh Ayed and his brother, Majd al-Juhaini and his brother Khaled, 4, Fayez Abdullah al-Juhaini, his mother Mahdiya, Omar al-Juhaini, also 4, and Othman Aziz al-Juhaini.
