Syria arrests two over drug trafficking in Aleppo countryside

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Syria’s Anti-Narcotics Department arrested two people on Monday for allegedly trafficking large quantities of narcotics in Kafr Karmine town in the Atarib area, west of Aleppo.

The department said in official social media posts that the operation led to the seizure of about 13 kilograms of hashish, 500 Captagon pills and 20 boxes of assorted ammunition following security and field investigations.

It added that legal procedures were taken against the suspects in preparation for referring them to the judiciary.
