Israeli airstrikes kill 6, including 4 Syrians, in southern Lebanon
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Six people, including four Syrian nationals, were killed on Wednesday in a series of Israeli airstrikes in the al-Housh area of the Tyre district in southern Lebanon.
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that four Syrians were killed in an airstrike targeting the al-Mayadin Road in the al-Housh area.
A separate airstrike on the Maamoura–al-Housh road killed two Palestinians, according to the agency.
The agency also reported that a drone strike targeted the town of Seddiqine, resulting in injuries, while Israeli warplanes carried out two rounds of airstrikes on the town of Bazourieh at dawn.
In a separate development, the agency said the Israeli military conducted three consecutive and powerful explosions at approximately 5:30 AM in the Arid Marjayoun area. The blasts followed a night marked by a series of repeated explosions in Dbayn and Arid Dbayn.
According to the report, the explosions caused material damage to several properties. The force of the blasts also shattered windows and storefronts in the town of Jdeidet Marjayoun.
No immediate comment was issued by the Israeli military regarding the reported strikes and explosions.
