Israeli forces deploy military vehicles in southern Quneitra
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces have deployed military vehicles and engineering equipment to the southern countryside of Quneitra, local sources told North Press on Saturday.
According to the sources, Israeli military vehicles, including bulldozers, were brought into the area of Tel Ahmar al-Sharqi in the eastern countryside of Quneitra.
The sources said the Israeli equipment began constructing earthen berms and military fortifications around the hill, amid a noticeable state of alert in the area.
The movements come days after Israeli forces reportedly installed prefabricated rooms at the same location, Tel Ahmar al-Sharqi, the sources added.
No official statement has been issued by Israeli authorities regarding the developments.
