QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The administration of al-Hawl Camp in the countryside of Hasakah announced on Monday the full closure of the camp and its surroundings, declaring it a closed military zone with a complete ban on entry or approach under any circumstances.
In an official statement, the camp administration said the measures come “within the framework of enhancing security control.”
The administration warned that any violation of the new instructions would be met with strict measures, including immediate detention and referral to the judiciary, potentially leading to severe prison sentences.
It also called on all residents and relevant parties to comply with the issued instructions, stressing the importance of adherence to ensure public safety and avoid legal accountability.
