QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces detained on Wednesday two civilians west of Saida al-Hanout village in the countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria, according to local sources.
Sources from the area told North Press that the two individuals were working as shepherds when they were detained by Israeli forces operating in the western outskirts of the village.
The incident comes a day after Israeli forces detained two young men in the vicinity of al-Rafid town in Quneitra countryside while they were herding livestock near Tal al-Durayiat.
Local sources confirmed that both incidents involved civilians engaged in grazing activities near the separation line in the area.
Quneitra governorate, which borders the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, has witnessed repeated detentions and incursions recently, often affecting civilians working in agriculture and livestock herding near frontline zones.
