War remnants blast kills 2 brothers in Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Two brothers were killed on Friday when a piece of unexploded ordnance detonated in the city of Deir ez-Zor in eastern Syria.
A local source told North Press that an unidentified explosive device went off, killing the child Aboud al-Suleiman and his brother Bahaa al-Suleiman in the Tab al-Joura neighborhood.
The source added that the neighborhood is heavily contaminated with explosive remnants of war, which have caused numerous casualties and continue to pose a serious threat to residents’ lives.
