U.S.-led Coalition sends new reinforcements to Syria’s Hasakah Base
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – The U.S.-led Global Coalition deployed on Thursday new military reinforcements to its base in the countryside of Hasakah, northeastern Syria.
A military source from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Deir ez-Zor told North Press that the convoy consisted of more than 15 cargo trucks, refrigerator trucks, and armored vehicles, which entered the Coalition base in the town of Shaddadi.
According to the source, the reinforcements arrived from Hasakah city and were escorted by a patrol along the al-Khurrafi road, the main route connecting Deir ez-Zor and Hasakah.
The source added that the patrol was backed by warplanes and drones providing aerial cover throughout the transfer.
