Asayish conduct security operation in Syria’s Tabqa, arrest 2 suspects
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) announced on Monday that they carried out a security operation targeting “wanted individuals” in the city of Tabqa, northern Syria.
In a statement, the Asayish said that their units in Tabqa conducted a “precise security operation” at dawn on Aug. 21 in the town of Mansoura, with the participation of special units and operations forces.
The operation targeted several individuals wanted on various charges. Two suspects were arrested during raids on their locations.
According to the statement, the forces also seized a number of materials and equipment, including a rocket launcher battery.
