Jordanian army arrests 3 attempting illegal crossing from Syria
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – The Jordanian Armed Forces announced on Wednesday the arrest of three individuals attempting to cross into Jordan illegally from Syria.
In an official statement posted on its website, the Jordanian army said: “This morning, the Northern Military Region thwarted an attempt by three individuals to infiltrate our borders within its area of responsibility.”
The statement added that a rapid response patrol was deployed to detain the individuals, who were subsequently handed over to the relevant authorities for further processing.
