Israeli forces mobilize in southern Syria amid military activity
QUNEITRA, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces deployed on Wednesday in the southern countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria, amid coordinated military movements along multiple areas near the border strip.
The Israeli forces deployed between Tel al-Ahmar al-Gharbi and Tel al-Ahmar al-Sharqi effectively cutting off the road linking the towns of Kodna and al-Asbah
Local sources told North Press that the Israeli deployment coincided with the incursion of a military patrol composed of more than ten vehicles and armored units. The patrol advanced via the Jabata al-Khashab road toward the al-Amal farms, reaching the Ain al-Nuriya area, while Israeli reconnaissance aircraft conducted intensive overflights in the region.
The sources noted that the convoy halted near a military outpost located past Ain al-Nuriya, en route to the town of Khan Arnaba, though the final destination remains unclear.
Earlier in the day, four Israeli military vehicles advanced from the village of al-Rawadi toward Tal Krum Jba, according to the sources.
The reasons behind this sudden military activity remain unknown, and no official statements have been issued by either the Israeli or Syrian authorities.
