OCHA Syria Director meets officials in Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) Director in Syria, Joseph Inganji, met on Wednesday with officials in the city of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria, to discuss humanitarian and service-related challenges in the region.
A source present at the meeting told North Press that the discussions included Inganji, Deputy Governor of Deir ez-Zor Ghassan al-Sayed Ahmad, and Director of the Humanitarian Coordination Office Bassam al-Masloukh.
According to the source, the meeting was part of the ongoing collaboration between Deir ez-Zor Governorate and international organizations operating in the area.
The talks focused on assessing the humanitarian situation, addressing pressing challenges, and exploring potential solutions to improve services in the region.
