Israeli airstrike kills 3 Turks on the border with Lebanon
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Wednesday evening that three unidentified Turkish nationals were killed in an Israeli airstrike.
According to Reuters, the incident took place while the Turks were attempting to cross illegally from Lebanon into Israel.
The ministry did not specify the time or location of the airstrike that killed the three Turks.
“We condemn in the strongest terms this unlawful attack that resulted in the death of our citizens,” the ministry said in a statement.
It also stated that procedures for repatriating their bodies to Turkey are underway.
