SDF reveals toll of operations against ISIS in NE Syria in 2024

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) revealed on Tuesday the outcomes of their operations against the Islamic State (ISIS) in northeastern Syria in 2024.

According to the SDF, they conducted 98 security operations targeting ISIS across northeastern Syria in 2024.

These operations resulted in the arrest of 278 ISIS suspects and the elimination of 17 others, including six senior leaders, as reported by the SDF.

Additionally, the SDF added that ISIS carried out 113 attacks over the year, while their forces successfully thwarted 43 attempted assaults.
