IED blast kills 3 civilians in Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Three people were killed on Saturday in an IED explosion targeting a civilian vehicle in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.
A local source from Deir ez-Zor told North Press that the bomb, recently planted along the main road between Kabajib and al-Sukhnah in southern Deir ez-Zor, detonated as a civilian vehicle carrying a family from al-Sukhnah drove by.
The explosion claimed the lives of all three passengers, identified as civilians. One of the victims was a man in his thirties, named Nashmi al-Kamal.
