SDF kills 63 Turkish-backed SNA militants in Syria’s Manbij
MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said on Thursday that 100 militants of the Turkish-backed armed factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), were killed and injured during clashes near the Tishrin Dam in the countryside of Manbij, northern Syria.
In an official statement, the SDF revealed that clashes north of the Dam and southeast of Manbij resulted in 63 fatalities and 37 injuries among the Turkish-backed SNA factions with the majority of the wounded in critical condition.
The SDF stated that SNA factions launched attacks on the villages in the vicinity of the Dam. According to the statement, SDF forces successfully repelled the assault, inflicting significant losses on the attackers.
The statement also detailed the destruction of a tank and five military vehicles, as well as damage to three BMB-type armored vehicles.
