Syria’s HTS Appoints Muhammad Faisal as Caretaker Government Spokesman
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, Syria’s caretaker government officially named journalist and activist Muhammad Faisal as its spokesperson. Faisal, a native of Has in Idlib’s countryside in northwest Syria, is widely recognized for his extensive career in journalism and activism throughout the Syrian civil war.
Faisal gained prominence as a correspondent for Orient TV, reporting extensively on the conflict and the suffering of civilians. Following Orient TV’s closure of its Syrian bureau, he transitioned into freelance journalism.
