Israeli forces move beyond ceasefire line in southern Syria

QUNEITRA, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces moved on Wednesday into the countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria, extending their advance beyond the ceasefire line and into the region following the collapse of the Assad regime.

A local source told North Press that Israeli forces entered the village of Swisah approximately three kilometers from the ceasefire line, and imposed a curfew.

Using loudspeakers, they instructed residents to vacate their homes.

The source added that the Israeli forces demanded residents surrender any weapons in their possession.
