AANES starts building Maternity, Children Hospital in Syria’s Qamishli
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) announced on Tuesday the building of the Maternity and Children Hospital in the city of Qamishli in Northeast Syria.
The Health Committee of the AANES announced the launch of the project in a press conference in the project’s location in the neighborhood of Jum’aya in eastern Qamishli.
Khaled Dawood, co-chair of the Health Committee in Qamishli told North Press that the hospital’s space measures 2800 m² and would cost two million and forty five thousand U.S. dollars, adding that the project would take one year.
Dawood added that the Hospital includes a department for gynecological and pediatrics diseases, with a capacity of 100 beds.
