Turkish drone strike injures 2 civilians in Syria’s Kobani

KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – A Turkish drone strike targeted on Thursday evening a car in the city of Kobani in northern Syria and injured two people, a husband and his wife.

Ali Mustafa Osman and his wife Halima Muhammad Osman were injured as their car was targeted by the Turkish drone strike in the village of Ain al-Batt to the east of the city of Kobani.

Halima is a member in Sarah Organization to Combat Violence against Women which was founded in the city of Qamishli in 2013.

Turkish forces regularly carry out attacks, using drones, against infrastructure facilities and vehicles in Northeast Syria region, causing a state of panic among the civilians and creating instability in the region.    

Early in April, the Turkish drone strike targeted a civilian car in Kobani.
