Turkish forces target village in Syria’s Manbij

MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) –  Turkish forces targeted on Monday with drone strikes a village in the western countryside of the city of Manbij, northern Syria.

Turkish forces and their affiliated armed opposition factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), frequently target areas and cities in northern Syria, resulting in casualties and material losses.

A local source told North Press that Turkish forces targeted with drones the village of Qart Weran in the west of the city of Manbij, causing material damage to residents’ properties.

On Dec. 28, 2023, Turkish forces targeted three villages in the countryside of Manbij with drones and mortar shells.

There is still no information about human casualties, the source said.
