Four SNA militants killed in Syria’s Sere Kaniye

SERE KANIYE, Syria (North Press) – Four militants of a faction of the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA) were killed on Monday after their military vehicle was targeted in the countryside of the city of Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain), northeastern Syria.

An official in the Turkish-backed Military Police told North Press that unknown assailants targeted with an RPG-7 rocket a military vehicle carrying members of the Sultan Murad faction near the village of Tel Arqam, located west of Sere Kaniye.

He said that the attack resulted in the immediate killing of four members, prompting the Military Police to cordon off the scene with support from Sultan Murad militants.

For being the first of its kind in the area, the source added, the attack has triggered a state of high alert among SNA factions there.
