Syria’s Deir ez-Zor witnesses tension between government forces, NDF
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – The city of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria, witnessed, on Saturday, security tension after the Syrian government forces arrested a militant of their-affiliated National Defense Forces (NDF).
A local source reported that the city is experiencing security tension following the arrest of an NDF militant by the Military Security Forces of the Syrian government.
The Military Security Forces arrested the militant on charges of drug trafficking, according to the source.
The tension reportedly subsided after assurances were given that the detained militant would be released.
